Solo dev maze game built with Python + Pygame

Welcome to Maze — a minimalist 2D puzzle game where every playthrough is different. Generated using a randomized depth - first search (DFS) algorithm, each maze is unique yet always solvable.

Install instructions

Download:

  1. Download the  .rar  file from the link above.

  2. Extract the contents using:

  3. Open the extracted folder.

  4. Double-click  Maze v1.0.exe  to start the game — no installation required.


Notes:

  • No internet connection needed once downloaded.

  • Make sure Instructions.png and  Icon.png  stay in the same folder as the .exe.

  • If Windows shows a warning (like "Unknown publisher"), click “More Info” → “Run Anyway.”

  • Works best on Windows 10 or later.
